Israeli police arrested Tuesday five Palestinian former prisoners from East Jerusalem, according to a prisoners' support group. Amjad Abu Assab, from the prisoners' families committee, said police rounded up the five former prisoners at their place or work or homes and took them to the Russian compound police station in West Jerusalem for interrogation.No reason was given for the arrest. Police also arrested two other Palestinians at the village of Hizma, east of Jerusalem.
