Police interfered again in the ongoing protests of Taksim Gezi Park at Kizilay Square in Turkish capital Ankara. Shortly after the protestors scattered after police used water cannon and tear gas, they wanted to go on their protest walking towards Kizilay Square. A group coming from Cebeci direction put barricades causing the traffic to stop. After the road was finally opened to traffic, some protestors were detained. Many people at the streets were badly affected by tear gas. A reporter also got injured in the protests and was taken to hospital. Because of the protests and police interference, metro stations at Kizilay were closed in addition to the cancellation of some bus services. The tension between the protestors and police have been going on. In the protests in Turkey\'s Istanbul city, 49 buses, 1 truck, 30 bus stops, and 5 construction equipments were damaged, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality said on Monday. The financial loss is around 6 million Turkish Liras according to the preliminary examination. Meanwhile, 70 protestors who were earlier detained in northwestern Bursa province were released. 368 Taksim Gezi Park protestors detained in Izmir Governor Mustafa Toprak of the western Izmir province said a total of 368 people had been detained during protests against demolition of Taksim Gezi Park in the past three days. Also, 32 police officers were wounded, 31 banks, 42 business offices, 12 automobiles, 11 public buses and a state institution were damaged during the protests, he said. Toprak added that one of the wounded police officers was in critical condition, and four of the damaged vehicles were ambulances. Toprak said that on the first day of protests 10,000 people gathered at Gundogdu and Cumhuriyet Squares, while 35,000 people gathered on the second day, and 5,000 on the third day.
