The German government urge the relevant political parties to work on activating the peace process in Yemen.

Government Deputy Spokesperson Christiane Wirtz said that all political parties in Yemen should activate the announced political process.

Wirtz also called on Saudi Arabia to suspend using weapons in Yemen.

Meanwhile, the German government announced its intention to provide six million euros to Yemen.

Earlier, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steimneier called for holding an international conference for peace on Yemen in order to reach a political solution ending the war.
