A meeting of senior officials at Arab and Latin American foreign ministries kicked off at the Arab League General Secretariat Monday.

The meeting is held ahead of the fourth summit of Arab and Latin American countries due to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the first week of November.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry will review preparations for the summit and events that will take place on its sidelines.

Participants will also discuss Arab-Latin American cooperation in the different fields.

They will also talk about a draft of the Riyadh declaration which will be released at the end of the summit.
