Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on Wednesday, begins a four-day visit to the Russian Federation to meet political and religious leaders.Palestinian Ambassador to Russia, Faed Mustafa, said President Abbas will meet President Vladimir Putin on Thursday to discuss the political situation surrounding the Palestinian cause, in addition to bilateral relations and regional and international issues.He added, President Abbas will also meet Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Patriarch of Moscow, Patriarch of all Russia and Head of Fatwa Council in the Russian Federation Sheikh Rawi Ain-Aldine.
