President Abdel Fattah El Sisi delegated Tuesday Presidential Secretary Ahmed el Ansary to the Embassy of Chad in Cairo to offer greetings on the country's Independence Day.

Chad’s Independence Day falls on August 11 to commemorate its freedom from France, gained in 1960.

The Independence Day is a public holiday in Chad.
