President Abdu Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Wednesday with new head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Yemen Cedric Schweizer and former head Eric Marclay. Hadi expressed his appreciation of the efforts the ICRC delegation made in Yemen, valuing highly its assistances and humanitarian services the committee offers in the upset areas in the previous crisis Yemen has gone through. He requested the ICRC delegation to present the possible assistance to convert prisons in Yemen to reformatories for getting the convicts acquired some professional skills make them able to integrate into the society. Mr. Marclay expressed appreciation of all forms of cooperation and support provided by the Yemeni leadership, government and people for the ICRC\'s activities and to facilitate their duties, especially in the troubled areas. The ICRC has considerably expanded its activities in the recent years in Yemen,\" he said, stressing to continue the cooperation to provide humanitarian assistance to Yemen. He said that his successor alongside the committee\'s staff would continue the ICRC\'s tasks, pointing to new ideas and projects to provide help in the areas of health and safe water and also in rehabilitating some reformatories.
