The newly elected president of Egypt Mohamed Morsi is to leave for Uganda on Oct. 9 for a two-day state visit during which he attends Uganda’s 50th Independence Day, the egyptian presidential spokesman dr, Yasser Ali said . Ali said in press remarks here Wednesday that during the visit , president Morsi will also meet with a number of other african leaders attending the anniversary . The visit also aims to restore the strong and deeply rooted relations with the african countries, added dr. Ali.
