President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan arrived here this afternoon on a two-day official visit to the U.A.E., during which he will hold talks with President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received the Turkmen President and the accompanying delegation upon their arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport. During a short break at the VIP lounge at the airport, H.H the Crown Prince welcomed the Turkmen President and expressed his hope that the visit would contribute to the promotion and development of the existing relations between the two countries to serve bilateral relations. Also present were H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, head of the honorary mission accompanying the Turkmen President, Hasan Abdullah Al Adhab Al Zarouni, U.A.E. Ambassador to Turkmenistan, and Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the U.A.E.
