Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to meet with Palestinian Authority’s Mahmoud Abbas on March 14, the Kremlin reports. The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation, the situation in the Middle East and in Northern Africa, as well as the possible revival of Palestine-Israeli peace talks. The latest meeting between Putin and his Palestinian opposite number ran off on June 26, 2012 during Putin’s official visit to Bethlehem , his first visit to the Palestinian territories.
