Prime Minister Sherif Ismail arrived in Sharm El Sheikh to take part in an African forum, to kick off Saturday in the resort city.

The two-day forum will be inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah Sisi and will be attended by a raft of African leaders and world figures.

The forum is organized by the Ministries of Investment, Foreign Affairs, Trade and Internal trade and International Cooperation in collaboration with COMESA, said a statement by the cabinet on Friday.

The forum will tackle various economic issues such as joint investments in infrastructure, agricultural projects, communications, information technology and medical care.
