The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) Tuesday said that Hadarim prisoners will begin an open ended hunger strike on Wednesday in solidarity with hunger striking prisoner Samer Issawi. According to PPC, the prisoners including Issawi’s brother will start their hunger strike in solidarity with Issawi and will not end it until Israel releases him. Issawi was re-arrested in May 25, 2012 after he was freed in the Gilad Shalit swap deal. He has been hunger striking for 270 days and currently being hospitalized in Ramleh prison.
