Qalubiya Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher discussed with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Egypt Shahin Abdullayev means of boosting bilateral relations in political, economic and cultural fields.

Abdel Zaher said they discussed also preparations to establish the first joint business council.

Abdel Zaher said Egypt is keen fostering relations with Azerbaijan via increasing investments as well as launching a direct air flight line between the two countries.

Abdullayev said his country is supporting Egypt and its leadership, pointing out that his country is keen on investing in Egypt especially after the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) recently held in Sharm el Sheikh.
