Prime Minister Hisham Qandil on Thursday held a meeting with Senator Robert Bob Casey, representative of the US state of Pennsylvania. The meeting, attended by US Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson, tackled the latest developments in Egypt and what has been achieved in the democratic transition path since the January 25 Revolution. The meeting also tackled preparations for the coming parliamentary elections under full judicial supervision, the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to recover economic stability and ways to lure foreign investments into Egypt. The two sides also tackled ways of boosting US-Egyptian relations in different fields and increasing trade exchange.
