The 15th Qatari Amir international bowling cup opened at Qatar Bowling Center (QBC) here on Sunday with Kuwait, participating. The championship, being organized by Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF) between February 23 and 28, is divided into two stages; the first preliminary stage lasts for four days. Chairman of QBF and the Arab Bowling Federation Abdulsalam Abbas expected, in press statements, that the open championship will be hotly contested due to the participation of professional players from around the globe. The QBF works constantly to improve the championship and is keen that each edition of it is better that the previous one, Abbas added.
