Qatari and Russian officials discussed Monday the peace process in the Sudanese western province of Darfur, and regional and international issues of mutual interest.Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad Al-Mahmoud discussed with Mikhail Margelov, the President's special envoy for cooperation with African countries and Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, also discussed ways of cementing bilateral relations and cooperation, official news agency (QNA) reported.It added that Margelov met earlier in the day with Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani.
