Member of "Future" Parliamentary Bloc, MP Riyad Rahhal, renewed his warning of Bashar Asad's Regime's attempt to trigger tension in Lebanon, particularly in the North, which is reflected in the open fire and bomb explosions occurring from the Syrian side, he noted. In a television interview to "MTV" Channel on Saturday, Rahhal expressed worry towards Syria's interference in the Northern region. He pointed to a Syrian plot aiming at linking the Syrian coast altogether, starting from Al-Qassir far-reaching Homs, with the intention of building an "Allawite" State as its last resort. "The Syrian Regime is actually more dangerous than the Zionist Regime, for it shells and kills its people whilst the Zionist practices killing against other people," added Rahhal. Over the electoral law crisis, Rahhal indicated that his Bloc has approved the "Law of Diversity" which has been proposed by "March 14th" Forces and MP Walid Joumblatt, so that the elections can take place as scheduled. However, he noted that "Hizbollah" and the "Free Patriotic Trend" do not wish for said elections to take place, even if MP Michel Aoun was given 128 Christian deputies!
