Re-elections are scheduled to hold on Wednesday in 21 polling stations of a constituency of National Assembly NA-46 of Khyber Agency, northern Pakistani tribal area bordering Afghanistan. Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced the re-polling after a numbers of complaints of irregularities in the constituency were received during the general elections on May 11 across the country. Total number of candidates contesting the election for the NA-46 reached 24, and the total number of votes in 21 polling stations would be 63,468. The results from 33 polling stations of the constituency came out wit an independent candidate, Hamidullah Jan Afridi as the leading candidate with 1, 683 votes. The turnout of 33 polling stations of the constituency remained four percent, due to law and order situation in the area. The paramilitary forces have been deployed in all polling stations to ensure peace in the area during the re-polls
