A 21-year old Palestinian man was killed and his 18-year old brother was seriously injured on Saturday when an unidentified remnant of the Israeli war went off in southern the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The man, identified as Naji Abu Sabla died at the explosion scene while his brother, Akram, suffered serious injuries in the face and the belly, Health Ministry Spokesman Ashraf al Quds said.
Since its end in August last year, the remnants of the 50-day Israeli offensive on the besieged enclave killed and injured scores of the Palestinians.
