Riyadh is interested in a political dialogue with Moscow to close gaps in disputed issues, Saudi ambassador to Russia Abdulrahman Rassi said Friday.

"We are interested in intensifying political dialogue and political consultations with Russia on various issues, especially on those, where sides have different positions," he said in an interview with Sputnik.

Rassi underscored that both sides are making efforts to build relations on promoting and developing cooperation, including in the trade, economic and investment areas, achieved over the past years.
