Russia has delivered over 30 tons of humanitarian aid to victims of the Syrian unrest, the Russian Emergencies Ministry (MOE) announced. "IL-76 delivered bare essentials, as well as portable kitchens and products to Latakia," the MOE said in a statement, RT reported. The Russian humanitarian operation was carried out with security guarantees ensured by the Syrian authorities. Earlier in December, Moscow sent two planes carrying a total of 44 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria.
