Russia and Egypt have agreed to develop cooperation in the military-technical sphere, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday following negotiations with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr. “Today, we have discussed practical steps, which are required for resuming work of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic and scientific-technical cooperation,” Itar-Tass quoted Lavrov as saying. “We have agreed to develop our cooperation in the military-technical sphere, in the sphere of fighting terrorism. “We have agreed on details of the cooperation programme in culture, education and sciences,” he continued.
