Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks on Monday with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif to discuss bilateral relations and the Syrian crisis, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said Saturday.

The two sides will exchange views on the key issues of global and regional agenda, including ways to settle the Syrian crisis, Sputnik news agency reported.

"The foreign ministers will focus on further development of bilateral relations in the light of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran's nuclear program agreed in Vienna on July 14," Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti.
