Russian President's Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov conferred with member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Ahmed Majdalani on the peace process in Syria and combating Daesh terrorist group.

The situation in Syria necessitates reaching a political solution to the crisis there and an effective way to combat Daesh group. according to a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
