Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has asserted that the that the incident with a Syrian Airlines' A320 jet, which the Turkish Air Force coerced to land in Ankara, will not affect Russian-Turkish relations. "I reassure you that no one should worry about the state of the Russia-Turkish relations. They are developing on a stable and solid basis," Lavrov remarked following his meeting with European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton in Luxemburg, as reported by TV channel (Russia Today).   Commenting on the situation over the incident, the Russian Foreign Minister once again stressed that the cargo onboard the jet "belonged to a Russian organization and was meant for the Syrian side." "It was a legal cargo. It was shipped legally," he said, adding that Russia wants comments from the Turkish side. Turkish fighter jets forced a Syrian passenger plane suspected of carrying weapons to land in Ankara last week. (QNA)
