Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has sent two planes to Syria with humanitarian aid aboard for Palestinian refugees, the ministry’s spokesman Oleg Voronov, Russian news agency (Itar-Tass) . “Two Il-76 planes have left for Syria. Each of the two planes carries 35 tonnes of humanitarian aid for Palestinian refugees staying in Syria,” Voronov said. Foodstuffs are also being supplied to Syria, he added. “Humanitarian aid is being provided on the instruction of the Russian government in order to make contribution to Palestinian refugees staying in Syria,” the spokesman said.
