Russia's Strategic Missile Forces will rearm five regiments with new missile systems and the strategic aviation will receive nine upgraded bombers in 2016, Chief of Russia's General Staff Valery Gerasimov said Friday.

"We are rearming five regiments of the Strategic Missile Forces. We will receive nine modernized aircraft," Sputnik quoted Gerasimov as saying.
