Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met on Wednesday with Egyptian Ambassador in Moscow Mohamed el Badri to discuss the latest developments in Syria.

The meeting also took up means of boosting relations between Egypt and Russia, according to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
