The Russian Interior Ministry has announced a tender to select the supplier of non-lethal aerosol grenades. The announcement was posted on the public procurement website.
According to the website, the Interior Ministry posted two lots on March 31 to procure riot control grenades, Interfax reported on Monday.
The ministry plans to purchase 6,300 Dreif-2 aerosol grenades, 5,500 Rulet-VV high-power tear gas grenades, 3,850 RGK-60RD tear gas grenades, and 2,150 RGK-60KD combined action grenades.
The total cost of the procurement is 88.3 million rubles.
The website said the delivery was due by November 1, 2015.
