Russian National Security Adviser Nikolay Patrushev paid a visit on Monday to the Pyramids area in Giza.
During the tour, Patrushev and his accompanying delegation expressed their admiration of the ancient Egyptian civilization, the media center of the Pyramids antiquities area told MENA.
Patrushev arrived here late Sunday on a two-day official visit to Egypt.
The visit represents an important step to follow up the outcome of President Sisi's visit to Moscow and Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent visit to Cairo.
It also comes as part of efforts to boost the strategic and political cooperation between the two countries.
