Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi called for collective efforts by worldwide Muslims to help the Palestinian nation retake their territories, specially Beit al-Muqaddas (Jerusalem), from the Zionist regime of Israel. “The Muslim nations should support Palestine to return Beit al-Muqaddas to the Muslim world,” Iran’s Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying on Wednesday in a message to the 12th Moqavemat (Resistance) International Film Festival underway in the Southeastern city of Kerman. Noting that all Muslim and Arab nations seek solidarity and unity, he said that solidarity of the Arab states and the Islamic Ummah will strengthen resistance against the Zionist regime. Salehi warned that Zionism is spreading across the world stealthily, but it is faced with the Muslims’ strong resistance. Albeit Muslims’ resistance is like a thorn in the side of the enemies, specially the US and Israel, he added.
