This is a new instance in Lebanon's history, Kataeb Party Deputy Sami Gemayel told the PCC before going into recess pending Monday's meeting. Gemayel named present difficulty as being political and non technical. He wanted a paradigm which does not give one party an upper hand over the other. He blamed the Lebanese body politic for the present political vacuum and the Lebanese system itself urging all politicians to assume their responsibility. All politicians must approach the present juncture with a clear conscience, Gemayel concluded.
