Saudi Arabia hailed on Monday the outcome of the 34th GCC supreme council, hosted in Kuwait on December 10-11. The Saudi cabinet expressed, in a statement during its weekly meeting, its utmost appreciation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his relentless efforts to ensure success of the summit. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the statement as saying that the outcome of the summit reflected keenness on bolstering GCC march thus boost joint action vis-a-vis political developments in the region and around the globe. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session. Meanwhile, the cabinet was briefed on a report on the meeting of the General Assembly of UN on negotiations among governments on reforming UN Security Council (UNSC). It reiterated commitment to work with UN and its member states in a comprehensive, fair and transparent way with the aim of reforming the UNSC to address Arab and Islamic causes, as well as maintaining peace and stability worldwide.
