Saudi Arabia presented today a paper on its water-flooded wealth at the water-flooded Civilizational Antiquities and Legacy conference in Tunisia. Abdullah Al-Rashed, the Director of Antiquities Registration and Maintenance Department at the Tourism and Antiquities authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Dr. Saeed Al-Otaibi, Director of International Relations Unit at the Antiquities and Museums Sector of the authority co-presented the paper. Briefing SPA correspondent on the contents of the paper, Dr. Al-Otaibi said the recovered antiquities gave evidence that Saudi Arabia is rich of such water-overwhelmed wealth as it is the juncture of two of the world\'s important seas. For his part, Al-Rashed disclosed that a thorough survey has been launched to unearth water-flooded wealth of Saudi Arabia, issue new regulations and legislations to protect the water-overwhelmed cultural legacy through international cooperation. To this effect, he said an exhibition will be held for the public to have access to vessels drowned off shore Al-Qunfuzah.
