Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and visiting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon discussed here on Sunday the current regional and international developments and ongoing UN efforts to address them.
During the meeting, Ban offered his condolences over Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's death and congratulated King Salman on accession to throne.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and several other senior officials.
The UN chief arrived here earlier on Saturday on his first visit since King Salman acceded to throne.
