Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a telephone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin, The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the efforts towards a ceasefire in Syria, the official Saudi news agency SPA reported. 
The Saudi monarch confirmed Riyadh's keenness on achieving the aspirations of the Syrian people and its support for the political solution based on Geneva I resolutions. 
He also stressed the necessity that ceasefire efforts include guarantees for the delivery of relief and medical assistance to all Syrian regions without exception.
