All police personnel and non-commissioned officers in the Egyptian governorate of Dakahliya have ended their strike and returned to work, security chief Sami el-Mehemi said Tuesday. Meantime, Mehemi approved a number of requests by non-commissioned officers to launch a security campaign to restore order and security in the governorate. An operation room will be set up and CCTVs will be put in place to monitor acts of violence and sabotage, said el-Sayed Galal, the head of the non-commissioned officers union in Dakahliya.
