Head of the tourist police directorate, Ahmed Moustafa Shahin, underlined the importance of intensifying security at police, archaeological and tourist facilities across the country.

During a meeting Thursday with a number of the directorate's officers, he said the distinguished security performance during recent incidents is the fruit of continued training.

The meeting falls within the framework of expounding security plans to forces to develop security performance.
