Senior officials from Arab and African countries held a preparatory session on Saturday, their third day of meetings to draft the agenda for the Foreign Ministers' meeting, ahead of the 3rd Africa-Arab Summit. Diplomatic sources told KUNA The officials, in their fifth closed-door session, were trying to finalize the draft resolutions and Kuwait Declaration for the Foreign Ministers' tomorrow's meeting, who would refer them to the November 19-20 Summit. The senior officials were scheduled to conclude their meetings last night but there were too many items to conclude thus the deliberations were adjourned until today.. They are discussing a report on the main joint activities of the African Union Commission and the General Arab League Secretariat and proposed measures to enhance the institutional capabilities to implement the 2011-16 African-Arab work plan. They would also review ways to rationalize mechanisms of execution and follow up of Afro-Arab partnership. They would also discuss a report concerning the second meeting of the Arab and African ministers of agriculture and food security which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last October
