Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Friday with President of the United Nations General Assembly Sam Kutesa during his visit to New York.

During the meeting, which was held at the United Nation's headquarters, they discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, as well as means of countering terrorism in the whole world.

Shoukry is expected to meet with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon later today.
