Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Tuesday with his Luxembourg counterpart Jean Asselborn, who is now visiting here.
The two sides took up means of boosting joint cooperation in several domains along with Egyptian-European relations, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Ati.
Shoukry expounded during the meeting economic and political developments in Egypt, added the spokesman.
He further touched on arrangements for the coming House elections to complete the political road map of the transitional period, the spokesman pointed out.
The two sides also reviewed regional issues, especially the situation in Libya, he added.
