Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed in a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields.

Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said on Tuesday that the two ministers tackled also the latest developments in the region, especially efforts exerted to solve the Syrian and Libyan crises.

He added that the situation in terror-plagued Iraq was probed as well.
