Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

Visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday held talks with the the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretary-General Le Luong Minh before he leaves here, winding up an Asian tour that took him to Singapore, China and Indonesia.

The talks covered means of beefing up economic cooperation between Egypt and member states of ASEAN which was founded in 1967.

ASEAN encompasses ten South East Asian countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
