First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister General Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi on Tuesday inspected the balloting on Egypt's new charter and security measures taken at Al-Kholafaa Preparatory School for Boys in Heliopolis. Voters at the polling stations received Sisi by chanting their support and women ululated with the traditional cheerful "zaghareet". Sisi was accompanied by Chief of the Central Military Zone, Commander of the Military Police and Head of the Morale Affairs Department of the Armed Forces. Meanwhile, a military source said Sisi attended at the operation room formed at the Defense Ministry premises along with Chief of Staff Lt General Sedqi Sobhi and top brass to follow up the balloting process which kicked off at 9 am. The source asserted that Sisi reiterated that any attempts for inciting riots and hurdling the balloting will not be tolerated and to be handled firmly. Also, chief of staff and top army commanders have been following up the balloting all across the country to make sure that nothing could disrupt such historical occasion of the country.
