The agenda of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Beijing will see intensive meetings on Wednesday and Thursday with senior Chinese officials and world leaders who will attend China's Victory Day celebrations, presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef Said.

In statements to reporters in Beijing, the spokesman said Sisi will meet with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Wednesday morning at the Republican Palace in Beijing.

Sisi will also witness the inking of several cooperation agreements including one to boost the energy production capacity and another deal between the China Development Bank and the National Bank of Egypt on extending a $100-million loan for bankrolling small and medium sized projects.

The president will also meet with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and heads of heavyweight Chinese companies.

He will also take part in an official dinner hosted by the Chinese President in honor of the leaders participating in his country's victory celebrations.

On Thursday, Sisi will attend China's Victory Day celebrations, which will be attended by world leaders of about 28 nations, including Russia.

An 81-member Egyptian brigade will take part in the massive military parade.

Sisi will attend the official luncheon hosted by the Chinese president on Thursday for the leaders participating in the festival.

Sisi will also meet on Thursday with heads of state participating in the festival, including Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, South African President Jacob Zuma and Congo's President Joseph Kabila.

The President will also attend an artistic celebration at the Great People Hall in Beijing's Republican Palace on the same occasion.

On the discovery of the largest natural gas field in the Egyptian waters, the spokesman said that Sisi expressed great pleasure on the great discovery that would contribute to meeting Egypt's energy needs, whether for citizens or for investment projects implemented in Egypt.

The President expressed appreciation for Singapore's experience in terms of both economic and human development.

Sisi arrived in Beijing on Tuesday coming from Singapore on a three-day official visit for important talks on means of promoting bilateral cooperation.

The Chinese deputy foreign minister welcomed Sisi upon arrival along with Egyptian Ambassador to China Magdy Amer and the Kuwaiti, Iraqi, Jordanian, Libyan, Omani and Palestinian ambassadors.

Sisi is accompanied by Ministers Sameh Shoukry of Foreign Affairs, Ashraf Salman of Investment, Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour of Trade and Industry and Mohamed Shaker of Electricity.
