Head of the Egyptian community here businessman Fathi Suleiman on Wednesday asserted that a visit by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi that will start today will help push up bilateral relations.

In statements to MENA, he added that Sisi is the first Egyptian president to visit Madrid at the invitation of the Spanish monarch.

The visit, he expounded, constitutes an official Spanish recognition of the legitimacy of June 30 Revolution and the current leadership in Egypt.

He held that the visit will help increase Spanish investments on the Egyptian market.
