An all-encompassing government necessitates making mutual concessions between parties concerned, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, told the Lebanese in his message on Prophet Muhammad's Birthday today.A precondition for setting up a new government however, would be the presence of a mutual goodwill with ample safeguards against economic and social disintegration, he added.In view of pressing time and challenges at hand, all contenders must assume full responsibilities without letting culprits blocking the process of government-formation off the hook. No body's power would be beefed up at the expense and logic of the state since it remains an all-encompassing framework and ultimate abode for all, Sleiman concluded.Iran will spare no effort to bring about stability to the Middle Eastern region, visiting Iranian Foreign minister Muhammad Javad Zarif, reassured president Sleiman during his stop-over at Baabda palace today.Having explored venues for improved bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon, Zarif boarded with the president developments in Syria and appreciated domestic atmospheres deemed conducive to the formation of a new government.Iran also looks favorably towards establishing good relations with Saudi Arabia, Zarif stressed. The cycle of violence in Syria must stop as a necessary prelude for holding Geneva 2 peace conference regardless of Iranian partaking or not, he added.He thanked Sleiman for identifying the suicide bombers of the embassy and conveyed a special message of friendship from Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.Sleiman who welcomed Iranian initiatives on the regional scene, stressed need for talking to Arab nations and the right of self-determination at Geneva 2.He also expressed satisfaction over the implementation of the nuclear deal with Iran.Sleiman earlier, boarded with caretaker Social Affairs' minister Wa'el Bou-Faour latest domestic developments and regular work at his ministry.
