Lebanese President Michel Sleiman on Monday hailed the by-elections' calm atmosphere that prevailed over Lebanon on Sunday. Speaking during the Cabinet session, Sleiman went over Sidon's security situation and affirmed that security apparatuses have adopted stern and effective measures, pursuant to the Cabinet's decision. Going over the salaries' scales, the President said that Prime Minister Najib Mikati was gradually managing this dossier with concerned Ministers and economic bodies.
