The Slovak security council will hold talks over current tensions in Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajcak said Wednesday. "The only way to come out of this situation constitutionally is negotiations between the public opposition and the government," Lajcak said, adding that Slovakia needed a stable, prosperous Ukraine. Earlier, opposition member of parliament and vice-chairmen of the SDKU-DS party, Igor Stefance, requested an immediate session of the Committee of European Affairs regarding the situation in Ukraine. Massive anti-government riots restarted in Kiev on Tuesday. According to latest reports, at least 26 people have died and 241 have been injured in the clashes.
