Confrontations erupted Wednesday between Israeli soldiers and settlers on one hand and Palestinian students on the other in the village of Burin, southwest of Nablus, after the soldiers and settlers had provoked the students, according to the local school principal Ibrahim Omran.He told WAFA that two army jeeps and settler vehicles were present in the vicinity of Burin Secondary School for Boys, which provoked the students leading to confrontations. He said military jeeps and settlers regularly drive by the school, sounding their horns and sirens in a way they intentionally provoke clashes.Last week, he added, the soldiers fired a tear gas canister into the schoolyard and a hand grenade was later found in its vicinity.
